Doctor Geek Live!

It was a blast celebrating Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary!  We spent most of November going up and down the state of Florida appearing at multiple events for the Osceola County Library System and of course Ken Spivey’s Time Lord Fest.

Ken informs me that my discussion, “The Science of Doctor Who” was the best attended and received of all the panel discussions that day.  I think it did not hurt that we had Robert Doyle as a special guest.  Robert gave us an update on his TARDIS in Orbit project as well as a tease of his upcoming project –Sons.  If you would like to have Doctor Geek or any of the lab staff to appear at your event please contact us at scott@drgeeklab.com

Claire and I had a great time at yesterday’s Osceola Fan Faire.

There was some really smart kids in the audience that made the event extra special.

If you are interested in having Doctor Geek or any of our lab staff at your event contacts us atinfo@drgeeklab.com

Will you be at Dragon*Con (August 30-September 2 2013)?  Well, we will!  Here is your chance to meet Doctor Geek, Claire and possibly a Creature or two from Doctor Geek’s Laboratory of Applied Geekdom.  This year, in addition to the fan favoriteArchaeology of Stargate panel, the lab staff will have not one but two panels devoted to Doctor Geek’s Lab!

So where will we be during the con?  Good question! For those with access to the official Dragon*Con App, look for Dr. Scott Viguie (Doctor Geek) and Debbie Viguie (Claire) for everyone else going app free Doctor Geek’s schedule is below.

Join the Lab Staff at TimeGate 2013 where they explain the science behind fictional world of Stargate.

We had an historic moment at TimeGate 2013.  For the first time, Doctor Geek, Mr. Flask, The First Mr. Creature and Madame Oracle (also the voice of DEUS-X) were together at a convention.  It was an honor to have Doctor Geek’s Laboratory to be listed at the top of the hotel’s video marquee.

Our panel, Doctor Geek Live! The Science of Stargate was a lot of fun.  It was great to see so many people enjoying our mix of science and fiction.

Sexy Professor (The River Song), the music heard in this episode, is from The Ken Spivey Band’s new album, The Universe Yields.  Buy the album atkenspivey.com
